During the pandemic, I had a lot more time to be creative. There was a lot of talk in the media about a ‘new normal’, and I was beginning to feel quite claustrophobic having not left the house in a long time. To entertain myself, I decided to sit down and write a tune that would be very different than anything I had written before. I came up with this jazzy hornpipe-esque tune, that I often play with an accompaniment that is more common in trap music! A ‘new normal’.
