This waltz came about one many years ago when I was sitting alone in my room studying for my Leaving Certificate. Having studied for many hours, I grew frustrated and took out my tin whistle in an act of procrastination. Suddenly, I came up with this melody very quickly. The melody reflects how I felt at the time.; it goes from a place of hopelessness to hopefulness.
