from Compositions by Liz Knowles
Another tune for Pat Broaders! This jig was written as part of an arrangement of “The LIttle Drummer”, a song that Pat learned from the singing of Christy Moore. I “borrowed” the song melody in the A part and composed on from there. The title comes from the fact that Pat was the last blacksmith apprenticed at the Dublin City Port and Docks. We are so grateful that his life also brought him music and brought him to us!
