The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
A collection of ITMA’s video field recordings.
Every year, ITMA undertakes field recording interviews of musicians, singers, dancers, collectors and others in the tradition. Be it our annual recordings in Queally’s Pub during Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy, or trips around the country to visit traditional artists, ITMA aims to get archival record of all those who’ve contributed to the tradition. Below is a playlist featuring these field recordings. We will continue to add to this playlist as more interviews are edited and released.
Donations at any level will help ITMA’s mission to make all of the archive’s materials freely available online to anyone, anywhere in the world, at any time.
