Mick McCabe is a Dublin-based flute player from the northwest of England.
Mick McCabe is a Dublin-based flute player from the northwest of England. He learned his music from Billy Greenall in the Ashton and Earlestown branches of CCÉ and has performed at festivals throughout Ireland, in the U.K., U.S.A and France. In 2018, Mick co-wrote and illustrated ‘Jigs to Jacobites’, a book about traditional set dances with Dr. Orfhlaith Ní Bhriain. Mick holds an MA in Traditional Music Performance from University of Limerick.
