ITMA is excited to present the Shared Island Flute Series, a six-day event featuring concerts, discussions, lectures and workshops celebrating the diverse flute traditions across the island and upported by Dept. of An Taoiseach’s Shared Island Initiative. Each day, guest lecturers will offer varied perspectives on flute-playing traditions across the island, from West Kerry to East Belfast, Irish to Ulster-Scots, Classical to traditional, encompassing both historical and contemporary viewpoints.
