These unique, daily tours provide visitors with an opportunity to delve into the world of Irish traditional music, song and dance. During your visit, you’ll learn about the extensive collections that document the rich history of Irish traditional arts, while also learning a few Irish language phrases.

Experience Live Performances
Experience live music as talented musicians perform traditional Irish tunes, bringing the archive’s extensive collections to life. You’ll hear and learn about instruments such as the fiddle, uilleann pipes, and harp along with some traditional dancing.
Learn to sing a song ‘as Gaeilge’
Practise your ‘cúpla focal’ by learning to sing a traditional song ‘as Gaeilge’ (in Irish). Under the guidance of Sorcha Ní Scolaí, an accomplished singer and uilleann piper from Dublin, you’ll learn the melody and lyrics to a traditional Irish song.
